May 2026:

The old Station House in Pill has been demolished to make way for a new small station forecourt.


1 May: Contracts for the main work were signed. Morgan Sindall Infrastructure will lead construction of the line and highways improvements at Portishead, Colas Rail will design and install a new digital signalling system and AmcoGiffen will deliver bridge works and associated highways work in Bristol. April 2026:

Marsh Lane bridge is being repaired and new parapets added. Photo … Work due for completion in June 2026.
